Whether it’s loungewear or office attire, The Drop, Amazon’s in-house fashion line, is renowned for nailing the essentials. I’ve purchased quite a few items from their limited-edition influencer releases and have always been satisfied with the quality, so when I saw the owner of the well-known Things I Bought and Liked Instagram account buy a cosy lounge set she claimed had “Olivia Pope vibes,” I knew I had to give it a try.
Despite the fact that it’s still around 95 degrees where I live, the Alice Crewneck and Faith Shorts combo from the company has become a mainstay in my weekly wardrobe.
Although it’s cold inside my house and they are composed of a ribbed, lightweight sweater fabric, I feel put together and snug at the same time wearing this set. The bell-sleeved crewneck shirt has a fashionable backside slit and is long enough for my arms, and the pull-on shorts feature a high waist without a drawstring. Nine complementary hues, including beige, black, jade, and dusty purple, are offered for the top and shorts (which I get compliments on every time I wear it on Zoom).

The loungewear set is marked as machine washable, and I can confirm that it holds up after being cleaned. Despite the lack of drying instructions, I’ve been drying the pieces flat, which has helped to preserve the shape. The fact that I can wear this set outside and easily change it into fall-appropriate attire when the weather eventually does turn cool is one of its best features, in my opinion. I can imagine myself wearing the sweater and white sneakers to run to the grocery store. The sweater will look amazing with white trousers.
Matching Pants

I have a fairly long inseam, so most cropped pants don’t fit me well. However, I love that you can mix and match the colours and sizes amongst the three pieces. This is the only thing keeping me from purchasing the matching lounge pants version of the shorts. If only the weather would get here sooner!
